This is a rarely seen but very beautiful plant originating from between 8000 and 9000 feet up in Columbia, Ecuador and Peru . Originally collected from the wild by Welsh plant hunters it is a very handsome shrubby plant with crinkly, aromatic deep evergreen leaves with silvery undersides and deep blue flowers, often still flowering in November when little else is. Highly recommended.
