FLOWERING JULY- OCTOBER

POSITION: Full sun

HARDINESS - tender, so must be kept frost free in the winter. The plant  will keep flowering if in a conservatory up to Christmas

This is a very distinctive and stylish plant  from Brazil with big aromatic  leaves an strong stems  covered with many small rusty red/orange blooms  - confertiflora is Latin for 'crowded with flowers' -  very late flowering when many other things have stopped and impressive as decoration at Christmas.

Cut back in spring to maintain good shape - these are big  tropical looking plants and should be staked in the garden to avoid any wind damage.
